Working with the Lotus Centre

Helping students with exceptional abilities reach their full potential through music and community

West End Music is partnering with The Lotus Centre in support of their efforts to bring the joy of learning music to students of all abilities and different learners.

When I started West End Music 10 years ago I knew I wanted to provide more than just standard music lessons like every other music school, but had not formulated anything specific except that I knew I wanted to support something I believed in. Then one day I was made aware of the Lotus Centre through a long time client who’s son is a student there and has benefited greatly from the experience and interaction with their specialized instructors. Dr. Erin Parkes has created something truly special for the many exceptional students that simply don’t have access to music learning because there are so few schools that provide the specialized teaching to meet their unique needs.

West End Music is now working to extend the reach of the Lotus Center by offering classes through our location in Stittsville.

Music is a beautiful thing that has so many benefits to our well being. It is our belief that there should be no exceptions when it comes to access to and interaction with music and all it’s virtues.
