Billing:

• Clients are invoiced at the start of each calendar month in full for the number of scheduled lessons in that month.

Lessons

• Lessons scheduled from date of registration to the end of June to secure your spot for the Fall to Spring season.

• Lessons spots are not reserved from year to year.
• Summer lessons (July/August) require registration separately.
• Once a week, 30 minutes each, in person or online / open door policy for parents

• You may schedule a trial lesson ($25) before committing to a series
• Minimum 1 calendar month commitment
• Guitar and Violin sales and rental available
• Discounts on instrument sales for registered students
• Instructors will provide take home materials and will recommend books as required
• Two recitals per season, December and June

Cancelling lessons:

• Twenty-four hours(24) minimum notice is required to receive a make-up class or to reschedule. Last minute cancellations will not be accommodated. Make-up classes are in addition to your regular schedule, an invitation will be sent out by the school to schedule a makeup class.
• Students may claim a maximum of four (4) makeup lessons throughout the season (September to June). If registered with more than one instructor the policy applies equally to each series.
• Once four (4) makeup lessons have been assigned, a student may request to reschedule to an available slot in that calendar month with any instructor of the same instrument, providing one is available. Otherwise the lesson is considered forfeit so please consider your absence carefully.
• If the teacher is absent, the school will either assign a substitute teacher or arrange a make-up lesson as required.
• All makeup lessons must be used by the end of the summer (August 31). In case a teacher is unavailable for any reason a substitute instructor will be assigned. Any unused makeup lessons after the end of the summer (August 31) are forfeited and cannot be recovered.
• No make-up classes/credits are given for absences for Rockband.

Placing a Hold:

• Absences of three (3) to four (4) consecutive weeks may be placed on hold with advanced notice of two (2) weeks minimum. Prepayment for the return dates is required.

Withdrawal Policy

• Students must give notice prior to the end of the calendar month, payment for the month is not refunded. Otherwise students are considered to be continuing lessons. Students will be held accountable for the lesson fees incurred for late notice.
• There will be no refunds for lump sum payments. The credits may be transferred to another student or used toward store merchandise.

Courtesy Online Lesson request:

• In the case you are unable to travel or make it to the school for an in person lesson, you may request an online lesson within as little as 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time. It’s recommended you call and email to make sure we get your urgent message.
• Your instructor must consent to the online request
• They will send you a zoom link, face time or Skype call
• Failed online lessons due to a technical problem are not credited.
